The Past

Born a poor young country boy. Abraham spent his youth roaming the lettuce fields of California. Miles and miles of open fields pushing out the nutrition for a growing America. From his forts out in the fertile fields he would see the thousands of migrant farm workers bent over and picking their way into the American Dream

Later this would have much greater influence as he was exposed to writers like John Steinbeck, who lived and wrote about the experience of the Salinas Valley.
